QPI-MN welcomes everyone to join our movement, whether you are an individual, community-based organization or county system.
Action Work Groups
Purpose of Action Work Groups
▪ Develop work plans to improve the experience of child welfare for children and families, including but not limited to, creating recommendations, implementing new strategies, committing (or recommitting) to positive practices, and evaluating effectiveness that promotes the mission and goals of QPI-MN.
▪ Ensure a continued focus on partnership with the Oversight Council and interested community partners to support the mission and goals of QPI-MN.
Who Participates
▪ Child welfare representation that aligns to the system’s individuals and roles, including parents (birth, foster, relative), youth, caseworkers, court personnel and child welfare.
▪ We value working relationships which recognize and respect the diverse perspectives of system partners and prioritize leadership of persons with lived experience.
QPI Champions Training
QPI Champions move advocacy work forward at the local, state and national level. This training occurs two times per year, consisting of 5 modules on the values, theory, and techniques.
Network Membership
Network members actively engage in QPI-MN planning efforts and participate in evaluating the effectiveness of QPI practices.
